Day 1 Marrakech - High Atlas Mountains - Telouet - Ait Benhaddou - Ouarzazate
We start the tour by picking you up from your Hotel in Marrakech then depart for Telouet over the mountains of high Atlas passing through the Tizi-n-Tichka pass (2260 m in altitude), visit the Kasbah of Pasha Glaoui in Telouet and stop for lunch in a local restaurant there. In the Afternoon, we drive to Ait Ben Haddou along the Ounila valley with its Berber villages. After visiting the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, we continue to Ouarzazate for enjoying Dinner and spending a memorable night in hotel.
Day 2 Ouarzazate – Skoura Palm - Valley of Roses - Dades Gorges – Todra Gorges
After having breakfast in Ouarzazate, we drive to Skoura in order to see the Kasbah of Amredil, a gorgeous Kasbah situated in the palm groves "Route of one thousand Kasbahs". Thereafter, we continue driving to the splendid Valley of Roses then cross the off-road with the possibility to meet a nomad family living in caves. After visiting the Dades gorges and exploring the marvelous rock formations, we head to Boulmane du Dades for a break for lunch. The journey continues to Tineghir then to Todra Gorges to enjoy its picturesque views of Canyons. In Kasbah hotel, you’ll have dinner and spend the night there.
Day 3 Todra Gorges – Erfoud – Erg Chebbi (Merzouga)
On the third day, after a short walk around the Palm Plantations enjoying the panoramic views of Todra River, we drive toward Tinjedad for a healthy lunch meal on a local restaurant. Then, we pass by several villages such us Touroug (Berber village) and El-Jarf to explore a local fossil craft workshop in Erfoud. Afterwards, we proceed to the captivating dunes of Erg Chebbi that are called also Merzouga Dunes where you get ready for a camel trek with a guide for an hour and half to go to the camp for Dinner and overnight stay in a traditional nomad tent.
Day 4 Erg Chebbi – Nomad family – fossil Site – Tour of the dunes
In the stunning Desert, you wake up early morning to enjoy the sunrise on the top of the dune, have breakfast and ride your camel back to the hotel where you can take a shower and relax. You will have a chance to tour on 4x4 allowing you to visit the black volcanic rocks of fossils, enjoy the spiritual music of Gnawa in khamlia village and discover the lake Dayte Sarji that forms in springtime and attracts pink flamingos and wildlife. After having a break for lunch in Merzouga or Hassi Labied, you will see the canal irrigation system and enjoy a walk on the superb oasis. Dinner and Overnight in an Auberge.
Day 5 Merzouga – Erfoud – Midelt – Azrou – Ifrane – Fes
After breakfast, we’ll make our way to Rissani to explore the local market (Souks). Then, we’ll head to Errachidia via Erfoud and Aoufous where we’ll stop for a fabulous view of the oasis in the Tafilalte region to continue driving later to Midelt passing through the pass of Tizi N’talghamt. After having a lunch break, we’ll go to Fes, the medieval city, via the Cedar forest which is near Azrou through the mountain of the middle Atlas. If time permits, you may see the Switzerland of Morocco IFRAN before arriving to Fes. Drop off in Fes
